Privacy Policy

This notice constitutes the Data Protection Policy of the operator of the website schonwaldmetal.hu (hereinafter: the “Website”) (hereinafter: the “Operator”). It contains the basic information regarding the processing, handling and registration of the personal data of visitors to the Website (hereinafter: the “User”), as well as the Users’ rights related thereto and the means of enforcing such rights.

This data protection policy complies with the applicable data protection legislation. It has been prepared in accordance with the following laws:

3. Legal Basis, Scope, Purpose and Duration of Data Processing

3.1 Legal basis of data processing

Pursuant to Section 5 of Act CXII of 2011, data processing is based on the voluntary consent of the User.


3.2 Scope of processed data

No data must be provided by the User in order to use the Website.

During the use of the Website, the User’s IP address, the start and end time of the visit, and in certain cases – depending on the User’s computer settings – the type of browser and operating system are recorded. These data are logged automatically by the system. The Operator does not link the data stored in the log files with any other personal data. These data are used solely for the purpose of developing and improving the Website.

The Website provides a message form that allows the User to send messages to the Operator regarding the Website, its content, or the services provided. When sending a message, the User must provide their name and e-mail address.

By sending the message, the User voluntarily consents to the processing of their data.

To facilitate identification and subsequent visits, the Website may place cookies on the User’s browsing device, provided that the User explicitly consents to this when first visiting the Website. Cookies are stored on the User’s own device, over which the User has full control. If the User wishes to change or delete cookie settings related to the Website, this can be done through the browser settings used to access the Website.

The Operator uses and processes the data provided by the User solely for the purpose of providing a higher level of service, primarily in the following areas:

  • responding to questions submitted on the Website and, if necessary, clarifying them later

The Operator does not use the data for any purpose other than those stated above. Personal data will only be transferred to third parties with the User’s prior informed consent. This does not apply to mandatory data transfers required by law.


3.4 Duration of data processing

The Operator is entitled to process the data voluntarily provided by the User until the User requests their deletion.


4. Data Security Measures

The Operator stores the data in Hungary on dedicated, secured servers located in the server facility of Rackhost Zrt.

This Website uses HTTPS certification, ensuring that messages sent by the User through the Website cannot be intercepted.


5. Amendment of the Privacy Policy

The Operator reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy. The currently valid Privacy Policy is published on the Website. Users are required to check the Website from time to time to stay informed of any changes.


6. Rights of the Data Subject

The User may request information about the processing of their data and may request the correction or deletion of their personal data via the contact details of the Data Controller. The Operator will carry out the correction or deletion within 5 working days of receipt.

The User may object to the processing of their personal data in cases specified by applicable law.


7. Legal Remedies

The User may submit complaints or seek legal remedies with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH):
